Newsletters

Being a newsletter editor/writer is as much a project management job as it is about writing and editing. In addition to developing and editing articles, some of the tasks required are:

  • creating editorial calendars aligned with marketing goals
  • setting and keeping schedules
  • working across functional teams to develop ideas and material
  • interviewing sources
  • inspiring and managing contributors
  • managing review and approval
  • editing or re-purposing existing information
  • working with digital and print production experts such as layout artists, web publishers, printers, and distributors.

I am very experienced in all aspects of newsletter production and in what is required to produce a steady flow of high quality articles on time and on budget.
