Newsletters
Being a newsletter editor/writer is as much a project management job as it is about writing and editing. In addition to developing and editing articles, some of the tasks required are:
- creating editorial calendars aligned with marketing goals
- setting and keeping schedules
- working across functional teams to develop ideas and material
- interviewing sources
- inspiring and managing contributors
- managing review and approval
- editing or re-purposing existing information
- working with digital and print production experts such as layout artists, web publishers, printers, and distributors.
I am very experienced in all aspects of newsletter production and in what is required to produce a steady flow of high quality articles on time and on budget.
